One of the favorite pastimes of NBA fans is engaging in fun hypotheticals featuring their favorite players. Whether it's wondering how older stars would fare in today's league, a potential trade for a star, or how a matchup between two teams that never played each other would go, it's always just fun to discuss that. In a recent appearance, Tim Hardaway Sr. shared his thoughts on a hypothetical 1v1 tournament amongst NBA legends.
When asked about a potential 1v1 tournament between NBA legends, Hardaway said that he believes Kobe Bryant will win in that hypothetical. The former NBA star says that Bryant's will to score will trump even the likes of Michael Jordan. Hardaway also adds that Dwyane Wade is a potential sleeper pick in this hypothetical, but he firmly believes that Bryant is the 1v1 king of the NBA.

To be fair, Bryant is one of the best isolation scorers in NBA history. One could easily make the argument that he was the best 1v1 scorer of his generation, too. Bryant, in his early years, would use his supreme athleticism to his advantage, while an older version of the star used crafty footwork and terrific shot-making to get buckets. His defense was also really good, getting All-Defense nods at various points in his career.
Bryant, Wade, and Jordan are all considered the three best shooting guards in NBA history, with Jordan as the top dog for most fans. Jordan was a different beast on his own; his scoring prowess rivaled by only a handful of players. Jordan is also the only player amongst the three who has a Defensive Player of the Year award to his name. Wade is considered to be the third-best by many, but his elite first step, finishing ability, and shot-making proficiency makes it hard to discount him in any 1v1 talks.
