The result sees City reduce Arsenal’s lead at the top of the Premier League standings to two points, with just two games left. However, they now boast a healthier goal difference (+43) than the Gunners (+42).
City must win their final two games and hope Arsenal slip up if they are to win the league title.
They also need to maintain their goal difference advantage, should they be tied on points at the end of the season.
