Saka, Odegaard & Saliba absent from Arsenal training today as Sky Sports shares new update

Arsenal trio Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Martin Odegaard were not involved in the Gunners’ training session today, according to Sky Sports journalist Sam Blitz. However, there is nothing to worry about as they were doing individual training as Mikel Arteta’s men prepare to host Burnley at Emirates Stadium next Monday. It is normal for some Arsenal players to train away from their teammates and the North London club will continue to take the best decisions for their stars ahead of the final three games of the campaign.

There was no Bukayo Saka, William Saliba or Martin Odegaard in the training session, but it’s understood they were doing individual training.

Riccardo Calafiori was available in open training this afternoon in a big boost for Arteta. He came off at half-time against West Ham United on Sunday but appears to have avoided any serious injury. Arsenal remain without Jurrien Timber and Mikel Merino, and it remains to be seen whether either player will be available for action before the campaign ends. The Gunners face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the last game of the Premier League season next Sunday (May 24) before playing Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on May 30.

They have no fresh injury worries at the moment and will fancy their chances of winning both competitions.
