Liverpool are among the clubs to have been sent a strong message aboout Junior Kroupi’s availability, while Arne Slot has confirmed he is involved in transfer talks for the summer.
Junior Kroupi message sent by Bournemouth chief
Since arriving at Bournemouth in January, Kroupi already has 12 goals for the Cherries despite being just 19 years old.
His performances have attracted significant interest, but Bournemouth‘s Head of Football Operations, Tiago Pinto, has made the club’s stance clear.
Pinto told 365scores (h/t Mundo Deportivo): “Kroupi will not be leaving the club. His contract is for more than four years.
“There is no release clause in the contract and he will not be going anywhere. We will not sell Kroupi even if we receive offers of €100 million (£87m).”

With Liverpool looking to strengthen their attacking options, Kroupi has been one of the names floated in the press as a potential target.
Earlier in May, Mark Douglas of the i Paper reported that Liverpool are among four clubs monitoring Kroupi, who only cost Bournemouth £10m.
The journalist claimed: “The earliest a transfer would be considered is the summer of 2027 – and then the value would be £100 million plus.”
Bournemouth‘s ‘not for sale’ stance seems quite emphatic due to the Frenchman having only joined midway through the season.
If the Cherries were to be convinced of selling their striker, it would take a massive fee and not one Liverpool would spend on the back of just half a season in the Premier League.
Arne Slot’s press conference updates
• Slot confirmed he has been involved in talks that are “ongoing between the club and new players”
• In another clue that Liverpool will stick with the Dutchman, he said: “I have every reason to believe I’m the Liverpool manager next season”
• Asked about Harvey Elliott, the boss confirmed “he will be with us at the start of the season” and had lots of praise for the loanee – quite a change from his January comments
• Mo Salah will be able to play “for only a few minutes” against Villa, while the Reds are still waiting to see if Florian Wirtz and Alisson will be fit to start
More from This Is Anfield
With Liverpool and Aston Villa meeting, there has been much talk about the predicament in which the latter’s loan player, Elliott, has found himself this season.
Here, Danny Gallagher reflects on what has been a wasted year for Elliott and a situation that has reflected poorly on both clubs:
“What we have witnessed over the past 12 months has been the needless annexation of a career, a year of censorship and stunted progression.
“And all for what? To satisfy the balance books, or to massage the egos of deal-makers who have failed to deliver on their promises?
“Elliott’s move to Aston Villa has been an unmitigated disaster and both teams involved are equally responsible. Villa for taking it on, and Liverpool for failing to see sense and provide a remedy.”

Liverpool Women are finishing the season at Anfield
Liverpool Women missed out on reaching their first FA Cup final in agonising fashion at the weekend, losing 3-2 to a late Brighton goal, despite having gone 2-0 up at home.
Their season isn’t over just yet, though, as they play at Anfield on Saturday against the Women’s Champions League holders, Arsenal.
This Is Anfield spoke to the Reds’ WSL top scorer, Beata Olsson, about the major advantage gained by having a big home crowd in L4.
