According to Portuguese outlet Correio da Manhã, Arsenal and Manchester United are both keen on signing the Denmark international this summer.
It is understood that Hjulmand came close to leaving Sporting at the beginning of the 2025/26 season, although a move ultimately failed to materialise.
Instead, the midfielder reportedly reached an agreement with the Portuguese giants to leave during the upcoming summer transfer window for a fee in the region of €40m — despite having an €80m release clause in his contract.

The midfielder’s current deal with Sporting runs until the summer of 2028, but he is widely expected to depart ahead of next season.
