AC Milan are considering the signing of Joe Gomez again, it appears. The Englishman is likely to leave Liverpool and a move to Italy could be on the cards.
It may be a case of revisiting previous targets for Milan in the summer, with yet another summer (and winter) interest being linked to the club already ahead of the summer mercato opening. Of course, it is a link that makes sense, too.

As we approach the summer, it is well known that the Rossoneri want to add some more names and experience to the backline and Gomez could be a way of doing so. Indeed, the Englishman would add two Premier League titles and a Champions League medal to the dressing room.
At 28, he still should have a lot to give, but his injury history would be a slight worry.
A third go for Gomez?
With his situation at Liverpool not improving, an exit this summer is almost guaranteed. Indeed, Matteo Moretto states that this could be enough of a reason for the Rossoneri to roll the dice on his addition again, as relayed by MilanVibes.
“The other name that’s been discussed in the last few hours is Liverpool’s Joe Gomez, who has been re-proposed to AC Milan in the last few hours and weeks.
“However, we need to wait until the end of the season, waiting for AC Milan to get their organisational and technical arrangements in order, to understand whether this name can actually be considered in the Rossoneri’s transfer market scenarios.
“At this time, it’s impossible to make any kind of assessment about the future of an incoming player without understanding the sporting aspects of next season and with the season still underway.
“The club is working towards this, but in the last few weeks, he’s been re-proposed, and AC Milan has decided to keep him there, under consideration, and then they’ll decide whether or not he’s of interest once all the players are in place and the new season is in place.”
