Liverpool manager Arne Slot is battling for his future at Anfield, with Champions League qualification potentially proving decisive. The Reds hold a four-point cushion over Bournemouth, though the Cherries possess a game in hand.
Beyond that immediate concern, Liverpool face a significant summer rebuild with multiple areas of the squad requiring strengthening.

Slot sack odds change
Liverpool manager Slot could be in serious jeopardy as his odds of becoming the next Premier League boss to lose his job have plummeted to 2/1 - making him the clear frontrunner, ahead of Newcastle's Eddie Howe.
The Reds' 4-2 defeat to Aston Villa on Friday evening has left them in genuine peril of missing out on Champions League football next term.
Should Liverpool fail to secure a top-five Premier League finish, Slot's position may become untenable.
Xabi Alonso continues to lead the bookmakers' list of potential successors to Slot, despite widespread reports indicating the former Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid boss is bound for Chelsea.
Luis Enrique, Andoni Iraola and Julian Nagelsmann also feature prominently in the bookies' rankings.

Richard Hughes message
Porto midfielder Victor Froholdt has personally addressed Liverpool's reported interest in securing his services. Sporting director Richard Hughes is understood to have been tracking the Danish international increasingly closely in recent weeks, alongside several Premier League competitors.
Froholdt was questioned directly about Liverpool's reported interest, but when confronted with the speculation he responded: "I am happy to see people following me and to know the fans appreciate my work. I focus on the feedback I receive from the coaches, from the team and on the things I can do on the pitch.
"Now I keep everything else away from where I am, because I am here playing for FC Porto and I am not focused on anything else."
However, Froholdt kept the door ajar with a cryptic message to Hughes adding: "Obviously I have dreams. I love playing here at FC Porto, but I also dream of playing for some of the best clubs in the world."
