Mohamed Salah has uploaded a post to social media of himself with Liverpool teammates Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Dominik Szoboszlai in the wake of an explosive statement.
The Egypt international, who returned from injury off the bench in the 4-2 defeat against Aston Villa, seemed to criticise his teammates and the club in a post to X after what was another damaging defeat for Liverpool.
However, spirits still appear to be high in the dressing room with Salah uploading a picture of himself with Wirtz, Kerkez and Szoboszlai at a restaurant.

Less than 48 hours earlier, Salah enjoyed a brief cameo at Villa Park after a few weeks out with injury. Arne Slot's side were ultimately well beaten in the Midlands and Salah took Umbridge over a number of factors.

The full statement from Salah read: "I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions."
"It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
“Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies.
"That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
"Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.

"Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
"As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen."
Salah's farewell Liverpool match is set to take place at Anfield next Sunday with Brentford as the visitors. Slot's side have yet to definitively seal Champions League qualification for next season and could therefore still need a win.
Bournemouth are the only team that can catch Liverpool but will be unable to overtake them if they lose to Manchester City next Tuesday.
