Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembele was forced off with injury just 27 minutes into their final Ligue 1 clash of the season against Paris FC.
Upon being replaced by Goncalo Ramos, he headed straight down the tunnel. Arsenal are due to meet Luis Enrique's side in just under two weeks in the Champions League final.
Though initial reports in France suggest his withdrawal was precautionary, the exact extent of his injury is currently unknown.
Dembele was selected as the striker for a strong PSG starting XI against Paris FC on Sunday with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha and Marquinhos also included.
Minor injuries have plagued Dembele this season and having him not full fit for the Champions League final, having scored three in the previous round, would be a major blow to Enrique.
Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes and Willian Pacho are the other PSG stars carrying injuries but the hope is that all three will be fit to feature against Arsenal.
For Mikel Arteta, he is hoping that Jurrien Timber will be back from the issue that has kept him out for the last two months.
In his latest update on the Dutchmen, Arteta said: "He's progressed a bit in the last few days... We're going to try to get him fit and available as quick as possible. Let's see.
"Obviously, he's been out a while, unfortunately. He's such an important player for us, and he's doing everything that he possibly can to help the team in any capacity."
Arsenal's immediate priority is the Premier League title race with a clash against Burnley at Emirates Stadium to take place on Monday evening.
A win would put significant pressure on Manchester City ahead of their trip to Bournemouth where anything but a victory would likely hand the title to Arsenal.
If it does go down to the final day, the Gunners head to Crystal Palace while City host Aston Villa. Both of their opponents have European finals either side of those matches.
For Unai Emery's Villa, they face Freiburg for the Europa League on Wednesday while the Eagles take on Rayo Vallecano after the visit of Arsenal.
