Liverpool is still uncertain whether Champions League qualification will boost its spending power next season, but that has not stopped a growing list of players being linked with moves to Anfield.
This summer’s transfer window is set to play a crucial role in shaping the club’s future, with Liverpool needing to add more quality, pace and squad depth while also addressing the imbalance that has plagued the current roster.
Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today. We start with Eduardo Camavinga, the Real Madrid and France midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Merseyside in recent months.

Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid)
Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is reportedly open to leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, with a Premier League move increasingly on his radar, according to TeamTalk. Liverpool is among the clubs being linked as it considers a long-term midfield reshaping. Manchester United is also said to be interested
The French international has also been tipped as a potential replacement for Alexis Mac Allister, with Camavinga valued at around $66 million (£50 million), a figure seen as relatively modest given his profile and age.
Arne Slot is said to be keen on adding more energy and dynamism to his midfield, and Camavinga’s frustration at missing out on Didier Deschamps’s France squad for the upcoming World Cup has further fueled speculation over a possible departure from Madrid.
Liverpool.com says: Camavinga would be a statement signing for Liverpool. At just 23, he already combines elite-level experience with the athleticism, aggression and technical quality that the Reds midfield currently lacks. If there is even a realistic chance of prising him from Real Madrid, it would be a major opportunity for Liverpool to refresh and future-proof its midfield.
Yan Diomande (RB Leipzig)
RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande is reportedly prepared to remain in Germany for another 12 months before considering a move, according to TeamTalk.
Liverpool has identified Diomande as a leading long-term option to eventually succeed Mohamed Salah, with the club continuing to monitor his progress closely throughout the season with Paris Saint-Germain also said to be monitoring the highly rated youngster.

RB Leipzig is reportedly valuing the winger at around €100 million (£87 million/$116 million), a figure that could prove a major hurdle in any potential deal. Despite his limited sample of top-level experience following a rapid rise from Spain, Liverpool has compiled extensive scouting reports on the 19-year-old and remain actively interested. It is also understood that initial talks have already taken place with Diomande’s representatives.
Liverpool.com says: Yan Diomande fits Liverpool’s usual recruitment logic however the Reds have reportedly stated they will not match Leipzig's valuation. Liverpool may be right to track him closely, but unless Leipzig softens its stance it seems like it would be more of long-term succession plan to pursue the 19-year-old rather than an immediate fix.
