The Clarets head to the Emirates for their final away game of the season looking to throw a potential spanner in the works, as the Gunners close in on a long-awaited first title in 22 years.
But Pep Guardiola and City will be waiting by, ready to pounce on any slip ups during the final two games of the campaign.
As it stands, Mikel Arteta’s side lead the way by two points and are guaranteed to finish top if they beat Burnley and Crystal Palace in their final two games.
But City, who face Bournemouth tomorrow night before hosting Aston Villa on the final day, will be looking to push the Gunners right to the wire.
While Burnley have endured a miserable season, with their relegation already confirmed, they have actually performed relatively well against the league’s better sides.

They drew 2-2 with Aston Villa last week, having also drawn with Liverpool at Anfield and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. They were also narrowly beaten by the Reds at Turf Moor, while they pushed Manchester United close both home and away, drawing their home fixture.
Guardiola, meanwhile, is confident the Clarets will give a good account of themselves.
“Here in England, teams always do their best,” he said.
“Leeds United, who are already safe, went to Tottenham Hotspur and played incredibly to earn a draw.
"Brighton & Hove Albion, meanwhile, were fighting for Europe, but Leeds won yesterday. I have no doubt Burnley will try.”
