Wow:"Superb"£100m+ ace is now"keenly tempted"to seal Liverpool transfer this summer

Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola is “keenly tempted” to join Liverpool this summer, according to a fresh claim from journalist Alexis Bernard.

At least one new winger is a must for the Reds in the summer, with Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo offering little pace in wide areas this season.

Barcola is one player who has been linked with a move to Liverpool, having struggled to start regularly for a star-studded PSG side.

Now, Le10sport journalist Bernard has dropped a new update on the Reds’ pursuit of the Frenchman on X, citing L’Equipe and saying he likes the idea of heading to Anfield:

“In the Barcola file, everything was written by @le10sport on May 10th, confirmed today by @lequipe. Liverpool is red-hot, the player is keenly tempted.”

Bradley Barcola a proven elite option for Liverpool

Barcola could be exactly what Liverpool are after in the summer window, although he would likely be an upgrade on Gakpo instead of a replacement for Salah, given his preference for being a left-sided winger.

The £100m-rated France international is such a dangerous wide player, possessing pace and quality in the final third, with PSG boss Luis Enique speaking of his appreciation for him:

“It is a clear bet from the club when we go out and find such a young player, a youth international, with a big personality and the quality to burst out. He has quite a few minutes for being in a team like ours. He incarnates the present and the future. On Saturday evening, he was superb, the most decisive player in one-on-one situations and he scored an exceptional goal too. It is a clear bet from the club when we go out and find such a young player, a youth international, with a big personality and the quality to burst out.”

Barcola has been limited to 21 starts in Ligue 1 this season, whereas he would feature more often for Liverpool, coming in as a key starter as soon as he arrives.

At 23, he still has years to mature into an even more formidable attacking player, and while he won’t arrive on the cheap, he could be the Reds’ next great winger.
