Liverpool have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of one of their targets for the summer transfer window, as he has confirmed he won't be moving this summer.
The Reds have been linked with a host of players already as we edge towards the summer market, with talks already held as Liverpool look to secure their targets early.
It's something the Merseyside club have done for many years now, getting ahead of the pack in order to ensure they don't miss out on any key additions.
It was an expensive summer last year, and Liverpool will likely go again this year after a disappointing season.
There's an argument to suggest that Liverpool need to strengthen in multiple positions, so it could be another expensive summer.

Liverpool have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, with the French international dropping a revealing interview this week.
Via Fabrizio Romano, Camavinga has been discussing Real Madrid, suggesting that they need to win everything next season.
Camavinga has also mentioned how it's been a dream come true to play for Real Madrid, massively hinting that he won't be going anywhere, considering he's already talking about the 2026-2027 campaign.
“It’s always a pleasure to play at Real Madrid and a dream come true. Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to be here. Now we have to think about winning next season."

According to reports, Liverpool opened talks to sign Real Madrid midfielder Camavinga ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is believed that the Spanish giants were willing to allow him to depart for a fee in the region of £50m, but it now looks like he is not going to be going anywhere.
The Reds were set to face competition from Manchester United, but unless Madrid force an exit, he could be staying in Spain for next season.
