Most of the Liverpool chatter on Monday swirled around the fallout of Mohamed Salah's weekend social media post, which took a not-so-subtle dig at coach Arne Slot.
Appearing on Sky Sports, Reds legend Jamie Carragher wasn't shy to disagree with Salah's action, calling it "selfish" while labeling the post as tactical ahead of the club's final Premier League fixture of the season.
There were still plenty of transfer rumblings, too. Yan Diomande seems to be staying at RB Leipzig, while the ongoing Curtis Jones transfer saga appears to be pointed once again at his exit.
Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today.

Yan Diomande future
The 19-year-old Diamande seemed like a popular choice amongst the Liverpool hierarchy to replace the outgoing Salah. The Ivory Coast international was named Bundesliga Rookie of the Year after finishing the league campaign with 12 goals and eight assists in 28 starts.
However, when Kicker asked Diomande after Leipzig's final game of the season whether he would remain at the club, the teenager was clear. "Yes," he answered. “I’m at Leipzig, and I enjoy playing here. In the end, it’s always the statistics that count. It’s been a fantastic year for me.”
Yan Diomande

Diomande led the league with 3.6 completed dribbles per match. If the Reds are looking for a similar profile, they could target PSG's Bradley Barcola or Tottenham Hotspur's Mohamed Kudus.
Liverpool.com says: Not to say that Diomande isn't a talented player, but Liverpool likely dodged a bullet by entering a sweepstakes that could have risen to nearly €100 million ($116 million).

Inter Milan swap
Italian giant Inter Milan could be a surprising trading partner for Liverpool this summer. The Serie A champions already registered an interest in Reds midfielder Curtis Jones in January, and Paul Joyce of The Times reports they'll come sniffing back.
Jones admitted in a recent interview with the club that his preferred position is in central midfield, though coach Arne Slot has been forced to deploy the England international at right-back amid the absences of Connor Bradley and Jeremie Frimpong.

Inter is expected to make another £35 million ($46 million) bid for Jones this summer, who is out of contract next year.
Liverpool could be interested in Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries. The Dutch international has a £22 million ($30 millkion) buyout. He could be a short-term option at a surprising position of need for the club.
Liverpool.com says: Jones is a homegrown player, and any sale would bank as pure profit for FFP purposes. However, his departure would give another reason for fans, who saw fellow local lad Trent Alexander-Arnold exit last year, to feel more disconnected from the team. Jones is a perfectly appropriate rotational starter, so long as he's content with the job.
