Leeds United 'made aware' the potential availability of Juventus forward Jonathan David

Leeds United have reportedly been made aware of the potential availablity of Juventus forward Jonathan David.

The 26-year-old only joined Juventus last year, making the move to Italy after five years on the books of French outfit Lille.

He has since made 34 appearances in Serie A, registering six goals and four assists. David was linked with Leeds earlier this year and talk of a potential Premier League move has now resurfaced.

Leeds United ‘made aware’ of forward’s potential availability

According to TEAMtalk, Leeds are among the clubs who have been been made aware of David’s potential availability.

Intermediaries are said to have made contact to gauge levels of interest, with Leeds one of five clubs thought to have been approached.

The report has also claimed Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion have been spoken to.

David has tumbled down the pecking order in Turin and a summer exit may be the best option for his career development. Juventus, meanwhile, are reportedly looking to reshape their attack ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

It has been suggested they are eyeing a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani, who is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.

Leeds United’s frontline

David would add a different dimension to the Leeds frontline, which was strengthened by the free transfer signings of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha last summer.

Both have proven to be shrewd additions, pushing last season’s top scorer Joel Piroe out of Daniel Farke’s starting XI.

Piroe has been strongly linked with a move away from Elland Road and Leeds will lack depth up top if he does seek pastures new.
