Torino and Juventus ultras clash before Turin derby
Ultras members of the two Turin-based clubs violently clashed outside the stadium hours before kick-off, throwing fireworks, bottles and stones.
As reported by Repubblica, the police intervened a few minutes later, using smoke grenades to disperse the two factions.

Days before the game, Torino had warned ticket buyers in the Distinti and Curva Primavera sectors not to enter the stadium wearing Juventus merch, sparking an angry reaction from the Bianconeri.

As reported by Sportitalia, the Juventus team bus was hit by several bottles thrown by Torino supporters upon arriving at the stadium.
The Stadio Grande Torino is sold out for the first time in four months tonight, as Granata supporters boycotted the previous home games in protest against owner Urbano Cairo.
