Juventus CEO Damien Comolli says he and Luciano Spalletti have ‘clear ideas’ on how to improve the team in 2026-27, but is ‘sad’ that some Bianconeri fans have been hospitalised after clashes before the Turin derby.
Juventus visit Torino on Sunday in the derby della Mole that ends the 2025-26 Serie A campaign.
Comolli: ‘Very worried’ after clashes between Juventus and Torino ultras
There has been tension prior to kick-off with violent clashes between Bianconeri and Granata ultras.
“We are very worried, it’s very sad. I apologise, I get emotional when I talk about the fans,” Comolli told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are worried about what is going on. It’s very sad. We are worried because some of the fans have gone to the hospital, and I’ll surely go to see them later. I hope they recover soon. When I came here, I learned that some fans needed medical attention, so my mood immediately changed.”

Juventus ultras who have entered the stadium have told their players they don’t want the game to be played, but it’s expected the match will go ahead.
Juventus sit sixth in the standings with just 90 minutes remaining. Therefore, they need a win in today’s derby to qualify for the Champions League, but also hope that two between Roma, Como and Milan drop points today.
“First, we must win the game; it’s very important to the club, the fans, and the players. There isn’t a Plan A or B. There’s a unique plan: to build a winning team in the short-term future, whether we qualify for the Champions League or not,” Comolli said.
“Everyone has responsibility, but the biggest responsibility is mine, surely. It’s important to understand what didn’t work. It’s all clear for Luciano, it’s all clear for the club and me. The only thing to do now is to build a strong team with the coach, Luciano, and a clear idea of what we need.”

Where exactly do Juventus need to improve?
“Many things, because we are sixth. Today we want to win, but it might be enough for the Champions League,” Comolli said.
“There have been problems, but it’s important to analyse them internally with the club rather than talk today. As I said, for us, it’s very clear what we need to change.”
