Television presenter Jeff Stelling believes newly-promoted Hull City could do worse than make an audacious bid for Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson.
Robertson, who starred for City under Steve Bruce when the Tigers won promotion at Wembley in 2016 and sent his best wishes ahead of Saturday's play-off final win over Middlesbrough at Wembley, is leaving Anfield after nine years this summer, and is available on a free transfer.
While Robertson's focus is now on the World Cup with Scotland, speculation has already started around his future and where the 32-year-old could end up and be playing his football next season.
Tottenham Hotspur, fresh from avoiding relegation to the Championship on the final day of the Premier League season, have been strongly linked with a move for the full-back.

City are back in the Premier League, almost a decade on from their last foray into English football's big league, having secured their dramatic win at Wembley over the weekend, and attention for them is now turning towards recruitment.
Stelling, speaking on talkSPORT, suggests City owner Acun Ilicali should make a bid to try and bring their former defender back to the MKM Stadium.
"Andy Robertson's been absolutely brilliant for Liverpool over the years, no question. If I'm Hull City, I'm on the phone to him saying, 'Why don't you come back now we're in the Premier League?'
"It's going to be an interesting summer for all of those (promoted) clubs," the former Hartlepool honorary president added, speaking about Coventry City and Ipswich Town.
