talkSPORT verdict
Ally McCoist shared his views on Alisson's Liverpool future during Tuesday's talkSPORT Breakfast show.
The former Scotland striker explained: "Yes [it is the right decision] for the club, particularly as we mentioned the pressure on Liverpool and Arne Slot to start the season well.
"They are losing a couple of real superstars in Robertson and Salah. You don’t want to be losing a real asset in a position that is as important as the one we’re talking about.
"Alisson could be disappointed and I understand that, totally. But from Liverpool and Arne Slot’s point of view your priority is the team and I understand it."
