Hull has been urged to try to sign Andy Robertson following its promotion to the Premier League.
The Tigers beat Middlesbrough in Saturday's playoff final at Wembley, courtesy of an injury-time winner from Oli McBurnie, to end a nine-year absence from the top flight. Hull was relegated from the Premier League in 2017, and it was after that relegation that Robertson left Hull to join Liverpool for a bargain $11 million fee.
Hull's return to the Premier League comes as Robertson exits Anfield after a legendary nine-year stay for the Scotland captain. And former Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling believes that Hull should now sound Robertson out about potentially moving back to the MKM Stadium.

“Andy Robertson’s been absolutely brilliant for Liverpool over the years, no question," Stelling said.
"If I’m Hull City, I’m on the phone to him saying, ‘Why don’t you come back now we’re in the Premier League?'”
However, Tottenham has been linked with Robertson in recent months and failed with an attempt to sign him during the January transfer window.

It has been reported by The Times that Robertson is expected to join the North London club after preserving its top-flight status over the weekend.
Robertson was given an emotional send-off at Anfield alongside Mohamed Salah following Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Brentford on Sunday, and the 31-year-old. explained his emotions at leaving the place he has called home for nearly a decade.
"Emotionally drained [is how I'm feeling]," Robertson said. "It's been a really difficult week.
"Such a busy week trying to keep your emotions in check, trying to focus on the game, but also make sure you've done everything right in terms of saying bye to the people you need to say bye to.
"It's been a really long week, and I need to now switch off. Now that the main man's here [Salah], if I could just say two more things. There's two other people leaving other clubs today that are pretty important.

"Pep Guardiola pushed us to completely new limits, I think both of us will agree with that, and probably we should have won more Premier Leagues if it wasn't for that man. What a servant to Manchester City, and I wish him all the best.
"And finally, Seamus Coleman, I think when I was growing up, he was one of the Premier League full-backs that was really at a very, very high level, and he was certainly a better bargain than me at 60 grand!
"Obviously, he's leaving Everton, and he's been a fantastic servant for that football club, and I wish him all the best as well."
