“Significant change” | ExWHUEmployee | Nuno West Ham future update

**West Ham are at present looking likely to change their initial stance & retain Nuno Espírito Santo as manager, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**

As was previously reported, a crisis meeting with the former Wolves boss was held to discuss his future, with it widely anticipated that he would be relieved of his duties.

However, following this meeting, it was understood a decision would be made at a later date, with the club set to explore options.

It’s now been reported by Ex that those talks were in fact positive with Nuno, and that there has been a shift which could see Nuno remain as manager of West Ham.

“It was widely thought that the Portuguese boss would leave the club following the relegation but positive talks yesterday seem to have changed the stance,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“It is thought the board wish to give him a chance to try and get the club up at the first asking.

“Whilst the decision hasn’t been fully confirmed yet and we are awaiting that from other sources there does seem to be a significant change in outcome.

“The club have said a decision will be made in the next couple of days and that itself suggests there is a strong chance he will stay.

“It seems that Nuno is the choice of Daniel Kretzinsky where as other board members prefer alternative options like Parker. A vote will be cast to finalise the decision.”

Further updates will be provided in due course on The West Ham Way Patreon.
