Leeds are in pole position to sign a new midfielder in the summer transfer window after holding talks.
The Yorkshire club will now be looking to build on their impressive 2025-2026 season with Daniel Farke comfortably leading them away from the relegation zone.
Leeds' recruitment last summer is undoubtedly a huge reason why they managed to avoid being dragged into the relegation fight, so they'll be hoping to repeat some of their business this summer.
There is no doubt the Whites need to bring in reinforcements if they want to climb into the top half and start pushing for Europe, which will undoubtedly be their aim in the next few years.

According to a report from Sports Boom, Leeds are in pole position to sign Philadelphia Union midfielder Jovan Lukic ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is claimed that Leeds have progressed in talks to secure his signature, with the midfielder wanting to move to Elland Road this summer.
Lukic could cost in the region of just £2.5m, with talks ongoing between the two clubs at the moment.
Lukic, described as a 'dynamic' midfielder by Philadelphia Union Sporting Director, Ernst Tanner, is also attracting interest from Spanish side Celta Vigo, but it appears that Leeds are leading the race now.
No final decision has been made just yet, but it could be a bargain addition for Leeds if they can secure his signature.
Leeds Fans Must Trust Recruitment Strategy
Elland Road-1
Although signing a player from the MLS for just £2.5m might feel a little underwhelming for Leeds supporters, they certainly have reason to trust their recruitment team. Last summer, the Yorkshire club made some fantastic signings, with the majority of them hugely benefiting the side heading into the season.
Leeds aren't going to splash the cash on every single addition, so bringing in players for small fees could be hugely beneficial ahead of the next campaign.
