Why Sullivan is RIGHT and West Ham should sack Nuno Espirito Santo

**After relegation, it was expected that Nuno Espirito Santo would leave West Ham.**

However, after a couple of days of discussions, there is a huge chance that Nuno will stay due to different opinions in the boardroom,

The majority shareholder and joint-chair, David Sullivan, reportedly wants to sack Nuno and replace him with a manager like Scott Parker, cheaper and proven in the Championship.

However, joint-chair Daniel Kretinsky, who is reportedly looking to buy shares to match David Sullivan’s, wants to keep him and give him a chance to get us back into the Premier League.

However, while I don’t like to agree with Sullivan, I think he’s right here. Nuno is West Ham’s highest-paid manager ever, and we have an opportunity to sack him for free.

I think it would be silly not to. We improved over the season, but he had a real chance to keep us up, and he didn’t do enough. Also, we’ve heard some of the problems he’s had with players and coaches behind the scenes. Also, we need to get away from signing Nuno’s agent Jorge Mendes’s players to line his pockets.

Given Nuno’s past, to believe he will have a year in the Championship without almost asking to be sacked would be risky. I’d say it’s very likely we keep him, don’t use the clause in the contract to sack him for free, and have to pay him millions to leave the club in a few months.

The club needs to change from top to bottom, and the manager is part of that. We need to get rid of the toxicity, and unfortunately, Nuno is part of that too.

I hope I’m proven wrong, obviously, Nuno has previous of bringing a club up with Wolves, but I really can’t see him doing that in East London.
