After 133 years at Goodison Park, the first purpose-built football ground in England, Everton made history in 2025/26 by playing their first season at Hill Dickinson Stadium and here are the ECHO’s full player ratings for the landmark campaign.

Although the Blues were just three points off a Champions League qualification place following their 3-0 victory on March 21, a seven-match winless streak from then on saw them miss out on Europe and finish 13th for the second straight season with just one more point than they picked up from the previous year while there were also disappointing early exits from both domestic cup competitions.

Across Everton’s 41 matches in all competitions, only James Garner, who was named Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season, started every game with Thierno Barry the only other member of the squad to feature in all the fixtures. James Tarkowski, Jake O’Brien and Beto each appeared 40 times while first choice goalkeeper Jordan Pickford played on 39 occasions.

At the other end of the spectrum, Adam Aznou, Eli Campbell and Reece Welch all had just a solitary outing – in the FA Cup third round defeat to Sunderland – with the latter not even picking up a mark for his four-minute cameo at the end of extra time. Here’s the full rundown of the 26 squad members used by the Blues throughout the 2025/26 season in reverse order in terms of the average marks from the ECHO player ratings, whether awarded by Chris Beesley, Joe Thomas or Connor O’Neill.
