Szabi Schön has completed a permanent move to Hungarian champions ETO FC Győr to end his stay with the Whites.
ETO, who secured the Hungarian top-flight title earlier this month, activated an option in Schön’s loan agreement to sign the 25-year-old on a permanent basis.
The move means a move back to his native Hungary for Schön, two years after joining Wanderers from Fehérvár.
The left-sided player made 44 appearances for the Whites in the 2024/25 season before moving to ETO on a season-long loan last summer and going on to become a regular in the Gyor team that won the title for only the second time since the mid-1980s and fifth time in their history.
