Barcelona have made contact with Newcastle United over signing Anthony Gordon, talkSPORT understands.
The Spanish giants could be set to pull off a summer hijack after Gordon agreed terms with Bayern Munich.

Gordon is attracting interest from Barcelona after agreeing terms with Bayern
Club-to-club talks have started between Barca and Newcastle, as first reported by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, with the England winger keen on the switch to La Liga from the Premier League.
Gordon's future with the Magpies became a major talking point during the season run-in amid his limited game time.
The 25-year-old remained an unused substitute in all of Eddie Howe's side's final four games of the campaign.
He had just returned from injury, but his absence from the starting line-up raised questions over whether he would be leaving.
Those concerns came with Bayern majorly interested in adding another English star to their squad, alongside Harry Kane.
Gordon agreed personal terms with the German giants earlier in May, but a significant gulf between the clubs remained, with Newcastle wanting £75million or more for their winger this summer.
And that stumbling block may have let Barcelona swoop in, as their own talks with the Magpies have now kick-started.
Barca beat Real Madrid to the La Liga title this term, but they will now potentially be losing two of their star forwards.

Robert Lewandowski has been confirmed to be departing, while loanee Marcus Rashford remains a Manchester United player for now.
However, talkSPORT understands that Barca want to sign Rashford permanently, with further talks expected to try and complete that move before the 2026 World Cup starts on June 11.
Anthony Gordon claps Newcastle fans3
Gordon didn't play in any of Newcastle's last four games of the season
Newcastle boss Howe admitted that he didn't know whether his side's loss to Fulham was Gordon's last time in his squad.
The Magpies were beaten 2-0 on the final day of the Premier League season last Sunday, with Gordon an unused substitute.
When asked about his star's future, Howe said: "I don't know.
"You can never predict what is going to happen. He obviously goes to the World Cup now, so we wish him well."
And those words followed earlier comments from the Newcastle manager that indicated a possible transfer is on the cards.
Howe said ahead of the Fulham clash: "It’s a difficult one for me to comment on, in terms of how he should be remembered, because that's us almost saying that he is going, and there's no guarantee.

Howe has spoken honestly about the potential exit of his star winger this summer
"We don't know at this moment whether it will be his last game.
"Obviously, I've picked a team, as I've said many times, that in the last few weeks has been performing well.
"Anthony's come back from injury. He's been great around the group. He's been absolutely part of the team, so there have been no issues.
"Let's see what happens."
