Martin O'Neill has picked out a catalogue of Frank Lampard attributes to praise after the Coventry City boss was named League Managers Association manager of the year.
Lampard has been presented with the coveted Sir Alex Ferguson trophy for his work guiding the Sky Blues back to the Premier League as runaway Championship champions.
It was the top honour at a black tie gala at Grosvenor House, London, on Tuesday night and Lampard was chosen ahead of nominees including Premier League champion Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Europa League champion Unai Emery (Aston Villa) and League One title winner Michael Skubala (Lincoln City).
England boss Thomas Tuchel and Ferguson himself led the tributes and LMA chairman O'Neill added: “Sincere congratulations to Frank Lampard on a truly outstanding achievement in winning the Sir Alex Ferguson Trophy for LMA Manager of the Year following an exceptional season.

“His leadership, professionalism and unwavering commitment have set the standard throughout the campaign, and the success he has delivered at Coventry City is a testament to both his vision and his ability to inspire those around him.
“To be recognised by his fellow managers and presented with this accolade is a richly deserved honour, reflecting the significant impact he has made at the club.”
O'Neill was inducted into the organisation's hall of fame after reaching 1,000 games as a manager, as was Steve Bruce.
LMA chief executive Richard Bevan said: “On behalf of the LMA, I would like to congratulate all of this year’s winners, whose dedication, resilience and professionalism continues to shine bright. To be recognised by your peers, those who truly understand the demands and challenges of football management, is a very special honour.
“This season has provided countless examples of outstanding achievements, and special congratulations must go to Frank Lampard, the winner of the Sir Alex Ferguson Trophy for LMA manager of the year and Championship manager of the year."
