The 42-year-old spent four years at Carrow Road before leaving in 2021 to become Head of Football at Middlesbrough, a position he has held since.
Lauded for his recruitment work under Stuart Webber, which delivered successes such as Teemu Pukki and Emi Buendia, Scott has also made his mark on Teesside, having signed the likes of Morgan Rogers and Fin Azaz, both of whom were later sold for significant profit.
Just a few days after Boro missed out on promotion to the Premier League following a 1-0 defeat to Hull City in the Championship play-off final, Scott is reportedly attracting interest from West Ham as the Hammers begin their rebuild following relegation.

According to talkSPORT, the recruitment chief is understood to be among the contenders being considered by the hierarchy at the London Stadium for the vacant director of football role, with manager Nuno Espírito Santo confirmed to remain in charge as they target an immediate return to the top-flight.
Scott made little secret during his time in Norfolk of his desire to return to working in the Premier League, having previously done so in the 2019/20 season on a tight budget, and could view a move to East London as a better route back to the division.
“In the short term, I definitely want to get back to the Premier League and have another go at doing the recruitment for the Premier League, hopefully with a bit more of a budget and say in what we do,” said Scott, speaking to the All In Yellow Podcast in 2021.
"Mid- to long-term, I want to progress into the sporting director role, and that's something I've spoken to Stuart (Webber) about at length. Stuart has been excellent and really supportive. He's always on the phone, talking to me about things and trying to educate me as we go on the job.
“It’s definitely an area that I want to progress into. In football you never know; it could be next week or another five years. It’s forever changing. It’s something I want to do and an ambition I want to push towards.”
