Aston Villa have increased season tickets and match-by-match tickets by 5% for the 2026-27 season, while Champions League tickets will cost up to £99 for non-season ticket holders.

It means Villa’s season ticket prices and match-by-match prices have risen by 5% two seasons running, while the club has also raised Champions League ticket prices again despite strong backlash in 2024/25.

Next season, the capacity of Villa Park will drop to around 37,000 due to the closure of the North Stand, which will reopen before the start of 2027-28, increasing stadium capacity to over 50,000 seats.

A Zone 1 adult season ticket will now cost £997.50 for 19 Premier League games, working out at £52.50 per match. The club will also offer fans a bundle including the four home Champions League league phase matches.

A Zone 1 adult season ticket covering those 23 matches will cost £1,297.50, meaning the four Champions League matches would effectively cost £75 each within that bundle - around 10% cheaper than buying them individually.

Adult season ticket prices will cost as follows:

Zone 1 – £997.50

Zone 2 – £902.50

Zone 3 – £845.50

Zone 4 – £703

Champions League tickets for adult non-season ticket holders (season ticket holders) will cost as follows:

Zone 1 – £99 (£83)

Zone 2 – £99 (£83)

Zone 3 – £89.50 (£73.50)

Zone 4 – £89.50 (£73.50)

Villa have guaranteed a freeze on match-by-match tickets for the 2027/28 campaign, after increases of 10% across the last two seasons. Category 3 fixtures are the most expensive Premier League games, with Category 4 covering the remaining fixtures. The new Premier League match-by-match prices are as follows:

Category 3

Zone 1 – £86

Zone 2 – £81

Zone 3 – £75

Zone 4 – £61

Category 4

Zone 1 – £62

Zone 2 – £56

Zone 3 – £52

Zone 4 – £50

Villa will continue their family package season ticket offering, which has risen from £1,615 to £1,691.

Home domestic cup matches will be capped at £25 for adults, £20 for over-66s, under-21s and armed forces personnel, and £10 for under-18s.

Villa have also communicated their intention to introduce a veterans’ discount from 2027-28, which would allow those who have previously served in the Armed Forces to access concession pricing.

The main reason for Villa’s rise in ticket prices is investment in the stadium and the matchday experience for fans.

Since 2024, Villa have invested £6 million in several projects, including upgrading toilet facilities in the Doug Ellis Stand, Trinity Road Stand and Holte End, redecorating concourses, and adding additional kiosks and bars in the Trinity Road Upper and Doug Ellis Upper.

By the beginning of next season, all seats in the stadium will also have been replaced.
