Jeremy Jacquet is due to be available for the beginning of pre-season despite sustaining a serious shoulder injury soon after agreeing to sign for Liverpool. Giovanni Leoni is also on course to start preparations for next season at the same time as his team-mates this summer.
The Reds agreed terms with Stade Rennais during the winter transfer window, worth an initial £55million plus £5million in add-ons. Their arrangement allowed the 20-year-old to remain in France for the rest of the season before finalising his switch to Merseyside.
However, his campaign ended prematurely after he sustained a serious shoulder injury in a match against Lens five days later. Following an operation on the problem, there were fears he might miss the beginning of Liverpool's summer preparations.

But, according to The Athletic, Jacquet's rehabilitation programme is currently progressing as planned three months on. He is due to be ready when the squad returns for training in early July.
The Reds will be heading back to the United States for a pre-season tour this summer. They have fixtures arranged against Leeds United, Sunderland and Wrexham as they visit Chicago, Nashville and New York City.
Jacquet will participate in those preparations, having said his farewells to his boyhood club last weekend. He has put pen to paper on a contract until 2031, with an option for an additional year.

"It's time for me to say goodbye," Jacquet said on Instagram. "From my first day at ETP until my last at Roazhon Park, it was a real pleasure for me to be part of this club.
"There have been some difficult times, but when I look back at the journey I have come since the beginning, I feel a lot of pride in seeing how far I have come and where it has led me.
"My thoughts are with all the coaches, staff, team-mates, managers and volunteers. Thank you for all the lessons and for all the moments shared with you, the good and the most difficult.
"Rennes supporters, a big thank you too for all the support you have given me since the beginning. I hope I made you proud until my last minute wearing this jersey."
Fellow central defender Leoni is also understood to be on course to return for the beginning of pre-season. The 19-year-old has been sidelined since tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on debut against Southampton in September, having only arrived from Parma during the summer transfer window.
Liverpool's pre-season schedule is due to be affected by the World Cup, with several players potentially returning late. The competition takes place from June 11 to July 19, leaving just over a month before the new Premier League campaign kicks off.
