Kyle Joseph departed Blackpool for Hull City 18 months ago - and has become a regular in the Tigers side that has reached the Premier League.
Former Blackpool striker Kyle Joseph is set to be a Premier League player next season - just 18 months on from his Bloomfield Road exit.
The 24-year-old is part of the Hull City squad that were sent to the top flight by a stoppage Oli McBurnie goal in the Championship play-off final on Saturday afternoon.
Throughout the campaign, the forward scored eight goals and provided five assists in 46 outings for the Tigers, but missed the showpiece occasion at Wembley due an ankle injury - which is set to keep him sidelined for the next 10 weeks.
Nonetheless, he was still in attendance at the national stadium, and was firmly part of the celebrations after the 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, he said: “It’s so special, and the way it happened as well - 95th minute at Wembley, it’s unbeatable. It was written. I’m a boyhood Arsenal fan, so I can’t wait for that. It’s been a good week for me.
“We’ve had everything thrown at us this season, and have been written off since day one. Everyone had us down in League One, but there was so much belief that this group was special. I’m so grateful to be involved, so bring on the Premier League.”
Meanwhile, taking to social media to celebrate the recent achievement, he wrote: “What a weekend, what a club. Unbelievably proud to be a part of this club and share these memories with this group of lads, staff and fans. See you in the Premier League. Up the f***** Tigers.”

Joseph spent 18 months with Blackpool, following his move to Bloomfield Road from Swansea City in the summer of 2023, after being unable to make an impact in the Championship down in South Wales.
Due to injury and selection, the Wigan Athletic youth product endured a frustrating first season in Tangerine under Neil Critchley - scoring just one goal in 30 League One outings.
The appointment of Steve Bruce a month into the following campaign rejuvenated the striker’s fortunes, as he became a key player for the Seasiders.
After finding the back of the net seven times in the first half of the 2024/25 season, Joseph caught the eye of Hull, and ultimately made a £2.5million move to the MKM Stadium.
