West Ham United’s Crysencio Summerville could join a top club like Arsenal or Liverpool in the summer.
The Hammers were relegated after finishing this season in 18th spot. The winger was one of the positives of West Ham’s disappointing season.
He can continue in the Premier League if Arsenal, Liverpool or another club were to sign him.
The Dutchman scored seven goals and five assists from 34 matches and only two assists were in the first half of the season.
Ronald Koeman, the Netherlands manager, wanted to include him in the squad for the first time in March before an injury ruled him out.
Arsenal and Liverpool options
Voetbal International journalist Süleyman Öztürk is confident Crysencio Summerville will leave West Ham United. Soccer News have relayed his comments.
The attacker spent four years at Leeds United before joining the Hammers in August 2024. He played in the Championship during his time at Elland Road.
Öztürk states there’s ‘extremely small’ chance he will return to the Championship with West Ham.
“That boy has already played quite a lot at the second level with Leeds. He has already been named Player of the Year in the Championship. This season he has promoted himself. So, he is absolutely going to another club in the Premier League,” he said.
When discussing his options, the journalist backs him to join a top club like Arsenal or Liverpool.
“That could be Arsenal. Or Liverpool. Top clubs are going to fight for him, so he can choose from a number of clubs,” Öztürk explained.
The VI reporter doesn’t rule out a potential summer move to Barcelona, partly because of his former Leeds United teammate, Raphinha.
“I can imagine Raphinha dropping his name internally at FC Barcelona,” he added.
“Raphinha would then say: ‘Good lad to have on the side. Rashford is an expensive option. I play every game anyway, so we can integrate Summerville into the plans’.”
West Ham want €35m
On Tuesday, Sport Witness covered claims from Italy that Crysencio Summerville is the main target for AS Roma.
The same source stated West Ham United want €35m to sell him. His contract expires in 2029, with an option for another year, and Transfermarkt value the attacker at €30m.
