West Ham already knew it was going to be difficult hanging on to their best players following relegation to the Championship.
But it may just have become even harder after an update from Fabrizio Romano this morning.
The transfer insider revealed the formation of a brand new football super agency — and the bad news for the Hammers is that Jarrod Bowen is one of the clients involved.
Speaking on his X account, Romano wrote:
“Official: new leading agency into football world has born — Gersh.

Bowen Situation Looks Increasingly Difficult
Jarrod Bowen gives West Ham fans the thumbs up
West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen is a wanted man
It would appear Gersh is effectively cannibalising a number of smaller agencies to create one huge football entity, none of which feels particularly encouraging for West Ham supporters hoping Bowen stays put.
The Hammers captain was listed amongst five players the club would ideally like to retain following relegation, with Mads Hermansen, Taty Castellanos, Tomáš Souček and Konstantinos Mavropanos also mentioned internally.
As everyone knows, football agencies make their money through player movement and transfers.
West Ham were already facing something of an uphill task convincing Bowen to spend a season in the Championship attempting to guide the club back to the Premier League. The last thing we need is a new super agent whispering new transfer possibilities into his ear.
More West Ham Departures Expected
We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but as things stand Axel Disasi and Callum Wilson already appear to have departed the club and I suspect more exits will follow over the coming days.
