Daniel Farke joins a list of great Leeds United managers
Daniel Farke has been muralised alongside Marcelo Bielsa, Howard Wilkinson and Don Revie within a piece of artwork that celebrates the Leeds United managers who have lifted the second division title.
Local artist Phil Harris first composed his ‘Generation Of Hope’ design in 2021 when the Revie, Wilkinson and Bielsa were emblazoned on the side of the former Yorkshire Rose Pub on Leeds Road in Guiseley.
The venue has since come into the ownership of Yorkshire Dental Suite and a full transformation project has been carried out. Harris has reimagined the mural to feature Farke after his Championship title succession the 2024/25 season, in which a club record 100 points was recorded.
The mural has already received overwhelming positive response from community members, with project supporters hailing the art as ‘a vibrant symbol of football heritage, community pride, and local collaboration in Guiseley’.

Dr Hassan Dalghous and Dr Hussein Dalghous, co-founders of Yorkshire Dental Suite, said: “This mural has always meant so much to the local community and Leeds United supporters, and seeing it brought back to life in this way has been incredibly special.
“It’s more than artwork, it’s part of the identity of the area. We’re proud to have invested in its restoration and reimagining so it can continue to be enjoyed safely for years to come.”
