Leeds United are facing a summer full of transfer decisions as the club plots out the next phase of becoming a Premier League regular once again.

Leeds chairman and 49ers Enterprises chief Paraag Marathe has referenced that the Whites expect to both buy and sell this window, with another two years of hard-fought battling before they can “truly” operate as an established Premier League outfit.

The change in finance framework from Profit & Sustainability Rules to Squad Cost Ratio regulations complicates matters for Leeds given, in the short-term, the club will be marginally worse off - albeit if they stay in the Premier League for another few years, they will be better off, especially once the West Stand expansion is completed.

But as for the here and now, there is expected to be a degree of squad turnover. Daniel Farke has underlined how it is important for the club to keep hold of their best players this summer, amid rumblings that some might have offers tabled their way.

Ethan Ampadu and Pascal Struijk are two players set to enter the final 12 months of their deals this summer while Karl Darlow sees his run contract dry at the end of June. Meanwhile, the future of Wilfried Gnonto is up in the air amid his lack of starts and an enquiry from Freiburg.

There are also the futures of returning loanees to decide. Joe Gelhardt has made clear he would like to join Hull City while Largie Ramazani finished his loan spell at Valencia with six goals and two assists.

Elsewhere, Fiorentina are unlikely to trigger a £6m buy-out clause for Jack Harrison while Mateo Joseph, who refused to join up for pre-season training last summer, returns to Leeds with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Some fans may otherwise feel that some current fringe squad members should either be sold on or kept in-house for another season. You can vote to keep or sell each United player in our widget below.
