The 2026 World Cup is now only days away.

This summer’s tournament, which takes place in the United States, Canada and Mexico, kicks off on Thursday, June 11.

While the build up has seemed underwhelming, there will be plenty to keep Burnley fans interested across the coming weeks.

Six of their players have earned calls up to their respective nations, in Hjalmar Ekdal, Axel Tuanzebe, Shurandy Sambo, Hannibal, Zeki Amdouni and Lyle Foster.
