The Champions League final between Arsenal and PSG is taking place at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary.
Ballon d’Or winner and PSG forward Ousmane Dembele recently had to be taken off in the first half of the team’s 2-1 defeat by Paris FC on the final day of their season. A statement was issued by the club which read: "Ousmane Dembele, who was taken off as a precaution during last night's match against Paris FC due to a muscle strain in his right calf, will remain under treatment for the next few days.”
However, it would seem that Ousmane Dembele will be available for the Champions League final as he told French outlet M6 that "I had a little scare, but the doctor told me there was nothing to worry about.
"I felt a slight discomfort and I preferred not to take any risks. I will be back on the pitch on May 30."
There have also been concerns over another PSG player Achraf Hakimi who had to go off in the semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich due to a thigh issue. He has recently been named in Morocco’s World Cup squad.
However, although he is reportedly back in training, it is not yet clear at the time of writing if Hakimi is fit enough to take part in the match. When it comes to Arsenal, a recent injury concern has been Jurrien Timber, the Netherlands international has not played since March due to a groin injury.
Jurrien Timber however has now returned to first-team training and he was also included in the Netherlands squad for the world cup. Dutch manager Ronald Koeman said: “The situation with him is that he was due to train with the squad today, to see how things look ahead of the weekend” and added that “They have the Champions League final on Saturday. We’ll have to wait and see if he’ll make it.”

What time is the Champions League final?
The Champions League final between Arsenal and PSG is kicking off at 5 p.m. BST on Saturday 30 May. Last August, UEFA confirmed the reason behind the early kick-off and in a statement said: “The decision is designed to enhance the overall matchday experience for fans, teams and host cities by optimising logistics and operations, while delivering several tangible benefits.
“Our goal is to make matchday a truly enjoyable experience for everyone who wants to be part of the excitement, while creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy for families and children to attend the biggest and most important club football match of the season.
“For travelling supporters, it will mean improved access to public transport – especially after the match – and a safer, more convenient journey back from the stadium. For the host cities, it will boost the positive economic impact of the event by giving fans the possibility to continue their celebrations.
“The new kick-off time also aligns with a more accessible broadcasting window, helping the final reach an even broader television and digital audience worldwide, with a particular focus on engaging younger viewers.”TNT Sports will be broadcasting the UEFA Champions League final for UK subscribers.
It will not be available free to watch and Sir Keir Starmer (who is an Arsenal fan) said about the decision that “I was saddened to see that, for the first time since the competition started 34 years ago, TNT Sports has decided that the Champions League final will not be free to watch for football supporters here in the UK.”

Starmer also said: “The Champions League is the biggest club football competition in the world and rightly means a lot to fans in this country – the home of football. I am a firm believer that the final of this competition should remain free to watch, whether Arsenal have made it or not.
“Obviously, I want as many fellow fans as possible to be able to watch our team in this historic final for the first time in 20 years. However, this is bigger than that. This is about supporters of all teams coming together in living rooms and pubs in every corner of the country to watch the most elite players in Europe battle it out. Hard-working people should not have to worry about forking out for a subscription to watch a game of this magnitude.”
