Manchester United's season might be over but there's still plenty going on at Old Trafford.
The club are edging closer to a deal with Atalanta for midfield star Ederson, and if they can get it over the line it would be a very encouraging start to what will be a crucial transfer window as they look to build on the momentum they have built under Michael Carrick.
As you would expect, transfers feature heavily in this week's Q&A, but there's also a question about United's new stadium. The club released their financial results on Wednesday and a minor update was given on the new Old Trafford.
We run weekly question and answer sessions, so click here to submit your questions, and we'll answer them next week. Here are the answers to some of this week's questions:
Can we get five new signings before the start of the new season?
United's latest financial numbers were released this week, and they showed the club made repayments of £110million to their revolving credit facility. That is relevant to the question because it leaves £250m to spend on the credit facility, which is essentially a credit card.
The Reds are in a strong financial position and could spend as much as £300m on transfer fees this summer, however, club sources regularly talk about the importance of taking a long-term view, and spending sensibly in the market. United have laid out their priorities for the transfer window and will stick by them. That means it's possible that three midfielders will arrive, along with a left-back and a left-sided forward, so there's definitely a chance of five new signings coming through the door.
It would be a shock to see United spending £300m, though. Significant investment has been earmarked to sign a Casemiro replacement, but other signings will have to be value for money, like the £38m package being agreed to sign Ederson from Atalanta. It should be an exciting window, mind.

Do we really need a player who has reportedly chosen to play for another club in Elliot Anderson?
The indications are that Manchester City are in pole position to sign Anderson, but I would take any suggestions that he has "chosen" to play for City with a pinch of salt. Would Anderson like to sign for City? The honest answer is: which player wouldn't?
They have been the Premier League's most successful club over the last 10 years and can almost guarantee players silverware. However, Anderson can like the idea of playing for United as well as being attracted to playing for City. He wants to join a club in the Champions League where he can reach the next level and win trophies. I would argue that you should not be put off the idea of signing Anderson because he wants a successful career.
Hopefully he can enjoy success at Old Trafford.

I hope United don't sell Rashford to Arsenal, he needs to go to Bayern.
It feels like there's a chance of Bayern Munich enquiring about Rashford now that Anthony Gordon is on his way to Barcelona. Bayern wanted to sign Gordon before Barca swooped for the Newcastle winger, so they are in the market for a left winger, and have signed a handful of Premier League players over the last few years. Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz have all made the switch from England to Germany's biggest club, for example.
Rashford needs to be realistic about his wage expectations to get a permanent move. His contract at United is worth £325,000 per week, but that deal was signed in the summer of 2023, following an impressive 30-goal campaign. Regarding Arsenal, United would not want to strengthen a Premier League rival, but an offer would be considered for the right money.

What is the update on the stadium upgrade?
United released a minor update on plans to build a new stadium when the club's latest financial numbers were released, saying: "Work continues behind the scenes on our ambition to build a new 100,000 seater stadium."
The situation remains unchanged: before United can push ahead with stadium plans, they must reach a deal to purchase the rail yard surrounding Old Trafford. The land is owned by Freightliner, and talks over an agreement have stalled. In October, a United spokesperson said the club were optimistic about agreeing a deal to acquire land, but seven months have passed and there has been no fresh update.
Andy Burnham previously suggested compulsory purchase powers could be used to acquire the space if a deal could not be agreed. It might be getting to the stage when that option is explored.

Is Ederson coming to United?
United are close to agreeing a deal to make Ederson their first signing of the summer transfer window. Over the last few weeks, United have been in talks to sign the Brazilian in a transfer worth around £38m, which is expected to be structured as £35m upfront, with a potential £3m in add-ons. The transfer window does not open until June 15, but United can announce the transfer and effectively complete it before then.
United have moved quickly to get this deal done at the start of the summer.
