After securing the Premier League, Arsenal are looking to strengthen even further this summer, and could do so with a record-breaking transfer deal, if recent reports are to be believed.
The Gunners are on the lookout for options to improve their strength in depth even further, with the midfield appearing as one area to concentrate on.
Recent links have emerged over Arsenal and a move for Sandro Tonali, as the Newcastle star continues to be linked with a possible move away from the North East.
However, it appears as though another option could be on the cards, and it's one that would see the Gunners repeat a transfer trick of old for Mikel Arteta.

Amid links with midfield options, Caught Offside reports that Arsenal are monitoring a potential deal to sign Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez this summer.
The Argentina international has been linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge in recent months, after publicly hinting at a possible desire to leave the Blues.
Fernandez made references to Real Madrid, and was subsequently suspended by the club for two matches, before making his return with some impressive displays.
With Chelsea missing out on Europe, and those rumours continuing to swirl, The Mirror reports that Chelsea have put a £120 million price tag on the midfielder.
That would make any deal a record-breaking one for Arsenal, with the club's current record transfer being that of Declan Rice from West Ham for £105 million.

Arsenal face some possible exits in the transfer market, with one star now linked with a move away.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners would be willing to make such an investment, with the report adding that Tonali remains the priority.
Meanwhile, Manchester City and Real Madrid have also been linked with Fernandez, who is making quite an impression while at Chelsea for his relentless mindset.
“He doesn’t talk, but the way he pushes you, the way he thinks, he thinks he’s the best. That’s why I like him,” Chelsea star Joao Pedro recently told Rio Ferdinand on his teammate.
“His mentality is, ‘I’m the best,’ it doesn’t matter who he’s playing against, he always thinks he’s the best. So, the confidence he has in himself is very good.”
It's the type of mentality that could drive Arsenal forward to even more success, while it would recreate a familiar trick of Arsenal's in recent years.

If Fernandez was to make the move to the Emirates Stadium, it would be yet another former Chelsea star who would join Arsenal under Arteta.
The manager has had a habit of picking up players from the Blues and turning them into key stars, regardless of where they are in their career.
Noni Madueke and Kepa Arrizabalaga were the latest to make the switch from West London to North London last summer, joining Kai Havertz and Jorginho in making such a move.
Fernandez could well be the fifth, joining others to have made the transfer before him, such as Willian, David Luiz, and Petr Cech.
Whether the finances are available to sanction a deal remains to be seen, however, but Chelsea's misfortune could be Arsenal's gain once again.
