Wolves have managed to beat off competition from a host of clubs to land the former England full back.
Wolves fans have already been left stunned by the news Brazilian international Andre has committed to the club for next season.
And a week on from that news, it has emerged that Rob Edwards’ side have beaten off competition to sensationally land former England international Kieran Trippier.
The 35-year-old has verbally agreed to pen a two year deal with the option of a third - as Wolves beat off competition from a host of other clubs for his signature.
It is understood Edwards had been integral to the discussions and the deal is set to be completed when the La Liga winner returns from his holiday.
The 54 cap England international is set to be the club’s first summer addition - with Wolves also linked with a move for former striker Raul Jimenez.

It has already been acknowledged that Wolves needed to bring in leaders and experience in the summer - and that is exactly what Trippier will represent.

And others were heaping praise on owners Fosun, who have repeatedly come under fire for a string of decisions that ultimately led to relegation.
One added: “If this happens it will be a great signing and maybe a real show of intent from the owners at last, can we actually start to look forward to the new season starting!”

And another could hardly believe what is happening as they said: “In the championship, we've got a Brazilian international and an England international, who scored in a World Cup semi-final.”
Another described it as a the ‘best signing in years’. while Edwards and chairman Nathan Shi have been urged to ‘keep it going’ in the transfer market.”
