Leeds United will already be preparing for another Premier League season following a successful return to the top division in 2025/26. The Whites ended in 14th position, eight points clear of the bottom three positions.
Ahead of the final home game of the season against Brighton, head coach Daniel Farke sent a clear message ahead of the summer transfer window. "I'm ambitious and this is quite important for me going forward,” he said.
"I love attractive football, perhaps for sides in the top half of the table, but I love to be a manager who plays for something rather than to avoid something.

"I'm not the right choice if it's about maintaining the status quo. I have to be convinced of a project, and I am at my best when I buy into a project. I can be picky and choose what I am convinced of."
If that ambition is matched by the club, then it could be an interesting window for Leeds as eyes turn to the 2026/27 campaign. The Whites have already been linked with moves in the transfer window.
With that in mind, here is a look at some of the latest stories, with our own thoughts thrown in...
Liverpool man linked
Leeds United are eyeing a move for Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott, who is set to return to Anfield after an unsuccessful loan spell with Aston Villa.
SportsBoom reports that Leeds are monitoring the player’s situation, with ‘formal discussions’ expected to start soon. The club are said to have competition from RB Leipzig, Sunderland, Ipswich and Coventry City.
Elliott has spent the current season on loan with Villa, but has been on the sidelines to avoid triggering a mandatory buy clause included in the deal. Liverpool are reported to be looking for a fee of £26-30 million.
LeedsLive says : While his move to Villa was unsuccessful, Elliott’s time with Liverpool has proven that he is more than good enough to make an impact in the Premier League. At just 23 years old, Elliott is still pretty young too, so will only get better.
Attacking midfield is an area where it feels like Leeds can strengthen this summer. Facundo Buonanotte failed to make an impact on loan from Brighton, suggesting that he will return to his parent club this summer.
That leaves Brenden Aaronson as the only recognised attacking midfielder. It feels like Elliott would be an upgrade on the US international.
Brenden Aaronson is challenged by Hannibal Mejbri during the Premier League match between Leeds United and Burnley at Elland Road.

Ramazani talks
Leeds have held talks with Valencia over a potential permanent deal for Largie Ramazani, according to AS .
The winger has spent the season on loan with the Spanish side. He has had a mixed time during the temporary switch but despite that, Valencia are still looking at a potential deal.
However, they do not want to complete the transfer immediately, and instead want to leave their options open in case another opportunity presents itself.
LeedsLive says : Despite reports over some warnings from the Valencia dressing room, Ramazani’s output for the Spanish side this season is not bad. In his 27 La Liga appearances, he scored six goals and provided one assist.

Leeds will be hoping that’s enough to convince Valencia to make the move permanent. It’s been reported that Leeds have placed a £10m price tag on the 25-year-old, if the Whites can get a fee of around that, then it would provide a good financial boost for the summer window, with that money potentially being reinvested into incoming signings.
