Leeds United will remain in the Premier League for the 2026/27 campaign after securing survival under Daniel Farke.

Now, attention will turn to the summer transfer window as bolstering the current squad becomes a priority. United finished 14th and eight points away from the drop zone.

The club will look to build upon this finish heading into the new campaign with Farke revealing that plans are already underway for the upcoming window. A new striker, defender and goalkeeper are the main priorities.

Farke confirmed his summer plans following Leeds' final-day loss to West Ham, stating that once the club's Premier League status was confirmed, "we have already started to work."

Here, Leeds Live has looked at some of the players Leeds have been linked with before the transfer window opens on June 15.

Zaidu Sanusi - Porto

Zaidu Sanusi had the opportunity to join Leeds in the January transfer window but ultimately opted to remain at Porto. The left-back was given the chance to head to the Premier League with Wolves also interested at the time.

Porto boss Francesco Farioli confirmed the news to Portuguese media but claimed that Sanusi stayed to fight for his position. He told O Jogo: "He had a good opportunity to move to the Premier League in January.

"I had a conversation with him about what he wanted because he didn’t have many minutes in the first part of the season. His response was clear. He said he was happy to stay and have a role in the team."

With Sanusi's contract at Porto only running until 2027, Leeds may reignite their interest in the 28-year-old. He has played 154 games for the Portuguese outfit, contributing eight goals and three assists at full-back.

Shea Charles - Southampton

Leeds will join many Premier League sides interested in Shea Charles, who could be on the move this summer. The 22-year-old had a standout season for Southampton, leading them to the FA Cup semi-finals and the play-offs with some important goals.

However, the Saints' 'Spygate' scandal scuppered their chances of a return to the top flight. This shocking news saw Southampton replaced in the play-off final by Middlesbrough and given a four-point deduction in the Championship next season after the EFL found that the club had spied on three opposing teams throughout the season.

Many of their key players are now linked with moves away from the club. Charles is one of those, and Leeds have a long-term interest in the midfielder.

Farke's side were linked last summer and have since reignited their interest. However, they are joined by Manchester United, Crystal Palace and Liverpool as other Premier League sides keen on the £25m-rated man.

Harvey Elliott - Liverpool

One of the pricier options on the list, Harvey Elliott could rejuvenate his career at Elland Road this summer. The Liverpool starlet joined Aston Villa on loan last summer but this move has not worked out for either party.

The 23-year-old made just nine appearances for Unai Emery's side, scoring one goal and featuring on the pitch for less than 300 minutes in total. Elliott will return to Liverpool in the summer with his contract running until 2027, but it is clear he will be looking for regular game time elsewhere.

The Athletic reports that Leeds are interested in the young attacker, who could depart Anfield for £25m. Football finance expert Stefan Borson believes that the price tag is "worth a go" for Elliott, with £25m "achievable" for a team with a tight transfer budget.

He did have an obligation to buy with Villa of £35m, but only if he made a certain number of appearances under Emery. This clause wasn't triggered and Liverpool may be tempted to cut their losses with the England U21 international to allow him more gametime elsewhere.

Dmytro Riznyk - Shakhtar Donetsk

A goalkeeper is a priority position for Leeds and a three-time league champion could be one of the best options between the sticks. Dmytro Riznyk has been linked with a move to Elland Road this summer after impressing for Shakhtar Donetsk.

The 27-year-old made 41 appearances last season, keeping 22 clean sheets and winning the Ukrainian league by a whopping 12 points. Reports from Football Insider claim that the shotstopper has appeared on Leeds' radar after Shakhtar made it to the semi-finals of the Conference League this season, before Crystal Palace eliminated them.

Danilho Doekhi - Union Berlin

A bargain defender who has shone in the Bundesliga could be a briliant addition to Farke's side. Danilho Doekhi is set to leave Union Berlin on a free transfer and has attracted interest from a number of clubs across Saudi Arabia and also Germany.

Fabrizio Romano stated in April that Borussia Dortmund joined Leeds as keen suitors for the centre-half. Doekhi was linked with the Premier League side in January with TeamTalk reporting that the defender was very keen on a move to Elland Road.

The 27-year-old played every single minute for Union Berlin last season, scoring seven goals and assisting one. He is valued at £11m by Transfermarkt, but his free agency status means that Leeds could be in with a chance of landing a major bargain in their pursuit of a defender.

Haris Tabakovic - TSG Hoffenheim

Leeds will look to bolster their options up front this summer with Haris Tabakovic a strong contender for a transfer. The TSG Hoffenheim striker, on loan at Mönchengladbach, has been linked with a move to Elland Road after he remained tight-lipped about his future in Germany.

When discussing a longer stay in the Bundesliga in April, Tabakovic said: "There are no talks [over a longer-term stay], that's all there is to say. For me, the only thing that matters now is giving everything for the club in the last six games, and then I'm looking forward to the World Cup."

German outlet BILD have credited Leeds with a strong interest in the striker, with Farke's links to the German league potentially paving the way to a switch this summer.

The 31-year-old made 18 goal contributions this season and also helped lead Bosnia-Herzegovina to a spot at the upcoming World Cup. He is valued at just £2.5m by Transfermarkt but could command a higher fee if he performs well in North America this summer.

Zan Vipotnik - Swansea City

Zan Vipotnik has attracted plenty of attention following a standout season at Swansea City. The striker was the Championship's top scorer last campaign, netting 23 goals in 44 appearances for the Swans.

This stellar form in front of goal has attracted plenty of clubs including Leeds, Sporting CP and Benfica. Vipotnik signed a new deal in March, tying him down to the Welsh side until 2030 and likely boosting his price tag further.
