It took me by surprise seeing Andre sign a new deal at Wolves.
I thought he was one of the main ones to be sold this summer and I think a lot of fans thought the same, but he loves the club, loves the fans and his family must be happy here.
He’s a very good player and if you can build a squad around players like him, you have a chance.
Now they need to try to keep a few of the other good players to build a solid side for the Championship.
Andre staying will also help Wolves with attracting other players - but any player that signs here needs to realise that Wolves is a massive club.
It is a club that deserves to be back in the big time and any signings need to know what it means to play for Wolves.
You’d be a fool not to sign for Wolves. It’s a massive club but we need to learn from our mistakes in the last 12 months if we want to progress.
You could see some of the issues against Burnley, as it was the same story as the rest of the season.
I don’t think we’ve put 90 minutes together at any point during the campaign, we always have one good half and one poorer one.
In the first half at Turf Moor, had we taken our chances and gone 2-0 up instead of hanging on to 1-0, we’d have won the game.
Then in the second half we made a bad start and struggled.
Mateus Mane had a good game but he still needs to improve in some areas, which will come with time.
He’s done well since coming into the team, he’s a brilliant player and I think he’ll do very well in the Championship.
If he makes a success of it next season, it will make him a stronger player and help his career.
The fans were pretty positive at full-time against Burnley and I’m not being biased, but we have one of the best fan bases in football.
They are die-hard supporters who always support the team, even after a season like this.
But, like every Wolves fan, I’m glad the season is over and I’m looking forward to what we are going to build in the next few months and hopefully the supporters can get behind the team and give them an extra push to get back to the Premier League.
It will take some doing and we need some backing from the top and new players for Rob Edwards to work him.
