A big personal reason saw a Leeds United star miss international training.
Leeds United star Brenden Aaronson has missed an international training session - but for very good reason.
Whites attacking midfielder Aaronson was named in boss Mauricio Pochettino’s USA squad for this summer’s World Cup on Tuesday for which the States are competing on home soil.
The team then headed to Atlanta to begin final preparations ahead of its two final matches before the World Cup begins but Aaronson was not present on training on Friday.
That, though, according to The Athletic, was due to boss Pochettino signing off a trip home to Medford, New Jersey for the Whites star to get married.
Aaronson was due back in training on Saturday ahead of Sunday evening’s first friendly against Senegal at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
