Fabrizio Romano drops stunning PL manager bombshell as Leeds United watch on

The Premier League is going to see many managers leave their clubs over the summer months, while Leeds United look set to retain Daniel Farke. Liverpool are suddenly one of those sides.

The Whites were ultimately rewarded for siding with stability during the winter months regarding Daniel Farke’s managerial position.

When many, including myself, thought it was best to part ways, the 49ers stood firm. 14th place and survival followed, and it leads us into a summer where we’re aiming to build on our stability – others are hitting the reset button.

Fabrizio Romano drops stunning Liverpool, Arne Slot exit bombshell as Leeds United look on

Elsewhere in the Premier League, there are multiple clubs that are in the process of changing managers for th 26/27 campaign.

We’ve seen confirmation of exits for Pep Guardiola, Andoni Iraola, and Oliver Glasner at their respective clubs. Meanwhile, Chelsea have already announced that Xabi Alonso will be taking over at Stamford Bridge. And, Marco Rose will replace Iraola at Bournemouth.

Now, a fifth club are in the process of replacing their manager: Liverpool, with Arne Slot.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano. He reports that Arne Slot has been dismissed as manager with immediate effect on Saturday afternoon.

As Romano reports, the front-runner to replace Slot is the departed Bournemouth boss Iraola.

Not to make this all about Leeds United, even though this is what ‘LeedsAllOver’ is literally for, but I can’t help but think our result against the Reds at Elland Road kickstarted this spiral for Slot.

A dramatic late equaliser from Ao Tanaka saw us draw 3-3, with Liverpool’s grim run continuing in December. After that game, Mo Salah held a stunning interview slating Slot’s decision to keep him on the bench. Ever sincde, the relationship between the two has been in absolute tatters, and it’s not recovered.

Leeds United should hope to take advantage of stability with Daniel Farke

Of course, Liverpool aren’t direct rivals of Leeds’ in any way other than the fact we play them twice in the league.

That being said, it’s another club that are in the process of overhauling their side for the summer. Leeds, though, will just be looking to pick up where we left off.

There’s so much merit to having a settled squad and coaching setup going into our second season. Add to that the record-equalling nine clubs competing in Europe. Now, there’s no reason why we can’t breathe a little easier next campaign.
