Arne Slot's reign at Liverpool is over. The Dutchman, just 12 months after guiding the club to its second Premier League title, has been relieved of his duties as manager. It is a bold move from the Reds' hierarchy, who will now embark on the search for his successor.
With fan favorite Xabi Alonso having already signed on the dotted line to take charge of Chelsea, Liverpool 's options are somewhat limited. The overwhelming frontrunner at this stage is Andoni Iraola, who previously worked alongside Liverpool's sporting director Richard Hughes at Bournemouth.
Should the pair reunite, Express Sport has identified some of the transfer targets they could pursue in the summer window.
Eli Junior Kroupi
It would come as no surprise if Iraola looked to players he previously managed at Bournemouth as potential recruits. Eli Junior Kroupi has had a breakthrough campaign and has been tipped to make a move to one of Europe's elite clubs.
With 13 goals in 33 league appearances, the 19-year-old is clearly a natural finisher who has flourished under Iraola's guidance.
Alex Scott
Remaining with the Cherries, Alex Scott was among their most influential figures this season. The midfielder was perhaps unfortunate not to have earned an England call-up, but at 22, his finest years undoubtedly lie ahead.
Capable of operating in several positions in the center of the pitch, he could prove an ideal addition to Iraola's revamped Liverpool side.

Bradley Barcola
This potential transfer had been discussed even before Slot's exit, as Bradley Barcola had been linked with a departure from Paris Saint-Germain. With Hugo Ekitike's injury and Mohamed Salah's exit, Liverpool will require a forward who can arrive and deliver an immediate impact.
Barcola has two years remaining on his deal, and Liverpool might seek to exploit that situation as they attempt to secure one of Europe's most exciting prospects.

Jarell Quansah
One of the most significant challenges confronting Iraola upon his expected appointment at Anfield will be filling the void left by the departing Ibrahima Konate. Jarell Quansah departed Liverpool for Bayer Leverkusen last summer and has enjoyed an excellent campaign with the German club.
The 20-time champions do possess a buyback clause in Quansah's contract, with speculation suggesting it stands as high as £70 million ($94.17 million). It would represent a costly return, but with center-back options hardly abundant, it might prove worthwhile.
