The Champions League final between Arsenal and PSG was halted for several minutes after a star suffered a nasty kick to the head.
Arsenal's date with destiny in Budapest was stopped in the 27th minute after PSG stopper Matvey Safonov took a blow to the back of his head as he bravely came out to clear a low cross.
The Gunners lead 1-0 thanks to Kai Havertz's strike after four minutes and Safonov had to be on hand to deny Leandro Trossard a tap in to double the lead and put Mikel Arteta's side in dreamland.

Safonov stayed down holding his head as the game was stopped and was quickly tended to by PSG's medical staff. His knock was treated with an ice pack to contain the swelling before he returned to his feet and was able to continue.
The game was restarted three minutes later with Safonov still continuing in goal.
Arsenal put themselves in the driving seat thanks to Havertz's opener and did a brilliant job of stiffling the game and frustrating the defending European champions.

PSG dominated the ball but looked rattled as their brilliant front three failed to have any impact on the game approaching half-time. The French side are still waiting to land their first shot on target of the game.
Former Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha praised the solid set-up that Arteta has set his side up in, saying on BBC Radio 5 Live: "Arsenal won't care what the possession stats say. They are very comfortable without the ball.
"PSG haven't broken through them yet, and Arsenal are very well organised. The challenge for PSG is to find some gaps in the Gunners defence, and there literally aren't any at the moment."
