Liverpool is gearing up to face one of the busiest months of the year. Hundreds of thousands of people are expected across the city region to celebrate a massive month of music, concerts and festivals from the biggest names in the world.

Over the last few years, Anfield Stadium, the home of Liverpool FC, has become a premier global destination for live music, hosting record-breaking runs from Taylor Swift and legendary performances by Bruce Springsteen.

This year's schedule promises to be the stadium's most diverse to date, from rock icons to country stars, kicking off with Zach Bryan on June 12. Known for his raw, "outlaw country" sound and the success of his album The Great American Bar Scene, Bryan is making his Anfield debut.

Rock legends Foo Fighters will bring the 'Take Cover' tour to Liverpool for a massive double-header on June 25 and 27. Rounding out Anfield's summer concert series is My Chemical Romance on June 30, with support from Echo and the Bunnymen.

Across the city, music legend Barry Manilow will blow the roof off the M&S Bank Arena on June 13. One of the country's best loved comedians, Peter Kay, will return on June 19 to add a little humour to an otherwise entirely musical month of madness.

The city's iconic Pier Head will once again welcome On The Waterfront festival for a specular weekend of events from local legends. Paul Weller opens the festival on June 18, followed by Liverpool's Red Rum Club on June 19.

Cream Classical celebrates a decade of bangers on June 20, with Irish rock band Snow Patrol bringing the festival to a close on June 21. And just when you thought that was it, Africa Oyé is back in Sefton Park after taking a fallow year in 2025.

Africa Oyé is the UK's largest showcase of African and Caribbean music and culture, making its comeback on June 20 and 21 as a ticketed event for the first time in order to help tackle rising costs.

The festival started in 1992 as a series of gigs in Liverpool city centre put together by Africa Oyé's founder, Kenny Murray. Its growth over the last 33 years has seen it taken in multiple venues including Birkenhead Park, Princes Park, and Concert Square and Sefton Park since 2002.

To kick off Liverpool's massive music month, The Fields of Éire Irish Music Festival will takeover the Olympia Theatre after changing venues from Newsham Park. The festival is the successor to the short lived Feis, which came to Liverpool's Pier Head in 2018.
