Former Aston Villa midfielder Glenn Whelan has been appointed as the new manager of Scottish First Division side, Livingston.
It is the former Republic of Ireland man's first stint as a full-time manager after gaining experience with the national side and at Bristol Rovers and Wigan, including two interim periods as boss.
Whelan joined Villa in 2017 under Steve Bruce and went on to make 73 appearances before leaving in 2019. He helped the Villans to Premier League promotion in the 2018/19 season. He also received 92 caps while representing his country, the Republic of Ireland.
The former Villa Park veteran faces a tough task at the Scottish clubs after their relegation from the top-flight, but the club will be expecting a quick return.
