Declan Rice has put the Premier League and the rest of Europe on notice before the new season, declaring Arsenal “are coming back for more.”
The Gunners ended their 22-year drought for a Premier League trophy, clinching the title with a game to spare, sparking wild scenes from players and supporters alike on a memorable Tuesday night.
However, Arsenal did come up short in other competitions.
Mikel Arteta’s side suffered painful defeats in both the Carabao Cup final and Champions League final, while crashing out at the quarter-final stage to Championship outfit Southampton in the FA Cup.
Though, after soaking in the spectacular scenes during Arsenal’s trophy parade on Sunday, Rice’s appetite for success has increased.
“I love this team, I love this manager,” he said on Arsenal.com.
“To see the joy we can give people, it’s crazy.
“But next year we’re coming back for more. Lock in or get locked out.”
